Lori is a Certified Athletic Therapist, Registered Massage Therapist and Co-owner of Synergy Sport Therapy. She received her Bachelors Degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College in 2011, and earned her diploma in Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology in Stoney Creek in 2015.
 
Lori is a deep tissue therapist and her multidisciplinary approach to treatment focuses on prevention and maintenance as well as decreasing pain and improving functional movement. Lori encourages her clients to take action and work to maintain their bodies as a proactive approach to work and life. She utilizes many modalities within her treatments including Cupping Massage, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Kinesiotaping, exercise prescription and instrument assisted massage.
 
Throughout her career, Lori has worked as an Athletic Therapist for the Guelph Storm Hockey Club, going to the Memorial Cup Final with the team in 2014. Lori has also worked on the bench for Jr A/Sr A/ Jr B lacrosse in Barrie, Orillia and Kitchener-Waterloo and Intercounty baseball with the Barrie Baycats. Lori has also covered several sports at the highschool level including football and rugby. 
 
Lori was an elite level synchronized skater until the age of 17, when she quit to play hockey. She has been a ski instructor, a snow boarder, rower and a mountain biker throughout her active life. Lori has lived in Guelph since 2010, officially made Guelph her home with her Husband Tim in 2014. She enjoys hiking with her two rescue pups, hockey, biking, yoga and stays active playing with her young son. Lori loves to travel and looks forward to planning some family vacations for her family in the near future.
